OK right off the bat. It is winter and I am not racing and these are just imaginary cars. I am NOT setting up a race or I would race them and find out. How would my GT (see mods below) fair against these stock cars in your opinions. I am just trying to get a better feel for some of these cars or what I have seen. all in stock form and from a dig
350Z Are there different classes of them or are they all the faster version. I have a friend who claimed to run neck and neck w/ one on the highway w/a 03 V6.
Celica GTS Never saw one to race yet at all. As far as I know
Probe GT Slightly modded maybe. As I recall, they are a V6 but can small mods like mine get them to run w/ me???
GTI Raced several VWs but never saw if they were GTIs or not. All got destroyed so is it possible???
RSX type-S about the same hp but will my tq numbers get the job done?
Thanks for any and all responses. I am a pretty good driver and can/have held my own on some decent cars. It seems that in my area, there are a lot of POSs that just want to mess around. There are some fast cars. I guess it is a good mix. Thanks.

The only decent race should be with the 350. They have about the same power and such. The Celica, RSX, GTI,and Probe are all jokes to race. They are all v6 territory cars though
:edit: just relized it said 96 when i read 99 dont know why. Anyway yea, the z will beat you and the rest you should have no problem with unless you are terrible at driving.

Im not convinced the 350z is out of your league. I raced one from a roll on the freeway a while back and handed him his ass three or four times and maybe had a draw once. That was from 70 to about 120mph. Ive lost to another one from a roll around town 15 to 50mph or so. I havent gotten to race one from a dig so I don't know how that would go but I know I usually do better from a launch than a roll...

'94 GT convertible 5 speed 3.27s Its not my fault the previous owner added these Cobra bumpers and emblems.
Nissan 350z similar weight to mustang gt COUPE, lighter than convert two engine options: 287hp/26xtq, 300hp/2xxtq (little less than the other engine, but not a lot)
judging by the numbers, the Z has it almost hands down. this is assuming he's a decent driver. with equal drivers, the 350z should win pretty much everytime against any gt before '99 stock.
