You of all people should know that a 93 GT stock is still in the mid to high 14s. So, regardless of it's weight advantage, it's got less power. Can you explain to me exactly why you think it's faster than a 99-04.

when i was stock i could beat new GTs through the end of 3rd gear and then they would pass me. but all it took to stop that was a light weight alluminum driveshaft which comes stock on a 99-04 GT. now ill take off and theyll never touch me. and on spray ill run side by side with an 03 cobra.

Hate them or not, done right those cars put up a hell of a fight. I raced one in my 97 cobra and he was will me till the end of 2nd/3rd then I just kept pulling and pulling. They are decent cars for the money spent on them. And I a stock 87-93 GT will not beat a 99-04 GT Stock for Stock, same drivers. You may have beaten them because they can't drive but same driver and your SOL. Yeah I've beaten an 03 cobra AND a Z06 vette BUT that doesn't mean I'm faster, I out drove those guys. Put a decent driver in either car and all I would see is tail lights which I'm not ashamed of admitting. Ppl need to get off thier high horses about their cars. If you get beat by a faster car get over it, the car has more power period, BUT when your outdriven, then you should be upset. Bad wording but you all get the idea.

They're talking about BRAND new... with warranty's...
You're not going to build a faster car for under 20k that's even remotely new, or one with a warranty.

i'm not a fan of the SRT-4s but i don't hate them either... to each his own. the video was cool though.

what do you have done to your car to have beaten an 03 cobra and z06? you have to be spraying or have something big done to do that. a stock 5.0 isn't going to even come close to either of those.

Pretty cool video. I liked the end when the guy asks where his keys are. Back in highschool I took my dads 93 LX 5.0 out without permission. Granted it wasn't to be with a girl but you get the point. Also guilty of taking my mom's 95 Corvette to the street races multiple times. 
Anyone here pull something similar?
