Race the Tiburon, if you lose oh well....maybe it is time to start considering modding your stang. Just learn from it. Good luck and be careful.

I'll race him, and if I lose, then oh well, I'll just smoke him in 1-2 years when I get my GT. (Sorry if wanting to get a GT makes anyone mad)

Yeah, but I like the 99-04 body style better. Which means in a couple of years, I might be able to get one for around $7500 instead of $11,000. Heck, I could buy a cobra, I've seen two 99' Cobras on autotrader.com for about $13,000. That would hand a Tibby its a$$ any day.

I've found a couple like that around where I live. They're really cheap for some reason.

03 and 04 cobras would be more anyways, IMO, becaue they are supercharged.

Yeah, they have like 390HP, compared to a 99-02 with only 320HP.

Northern cars loose their value quicker because of the salt they use on the roads can "rot" cars away over time..

i raced an 04 v6 tiburon 5spd with my 02 auto, and beat him at least 2 car lenghts. i thought it would be closer, but it wasn't, and i had an extra person with me. he was racing too, cause we went out on some roads and did the horn thing and everything. i think his biggest problem is no traction. i could hear the tires squealing, and the time he hooked up, it was too late.

Tibby's are way over rated IMO. I've beaten V6GT's. I can walk all over them. Way over rated.
