Did you find that on a corvette video site? I saw that the other week and it just hit me where you might have gotten it from. Thats one fast SHO.

Oh and that does not look like an LS6 engine...I thought they came with red coverings over the valve covers?

The fuel rail covers are easily swapped out, however, he is not running a true LS6 motor, hence it stated conversion.  He most likely put a different cam, intake, ect. in a LS1, which makes more sense anyways.  I have seen this video also on corvettekillstories.com.

It is like a custom job.  I do not believe they make an accual kit for the sho yet.  It would be easier to just supercharge it... that supercharged sho keptd up and beat that turbo sho in that vid

well its not just a Taurus ...   A super high output quad cam v6 shouldnt be taken lightly.  They own new Mustang Gt's on the freeway

You are just joking right?  I've went with a sho from about 55 mph on the way home from vacation last year.   He pulled up, put it in neutral, and revved, so we dropped the hammers from 55. He didn't "own" me, as I gently pulled on him the entire way to a guestimate of 110.  It was the v6, not that v8 sho. But I love SHO's!!  At the time, I had a bonestock 03' GT.

stock SHOs won't own a GT on the freeway...they're a second slower stock for stock than a GT, let alone the new GT.
