Don't give me the bad advice, crap what did you do when you were a kid? My advice is, if it breaks replace the weak points,  Whip the living piss out of it. If it can't handle it, go get a Chevy or put chevy parts on it so it can handle a good beating!!!!!!!!!

gt200mph, don't waste your time arguing with 95LT1, 88vert, and vfast, they're obviously trolls that are Chevy guys that cruise around on Ford sites and like to give bad advice (cause they evidently have nothing better to do w/ their lives, i mean God knows they can't be too enthusiastic about their cars!!!), in hopes that they'll somehow pursuade some unknowing soul into converting to their Brand-X!!!

The funniest part of these guys advice is that up untill GM put the T56 six-speeds in the Camaros and Firebirds a couple years ago, they also used the same T5. But these guys probably aren't even aware of this fact!

When was the last year GM had the muncie 4-speeds in production cars and trucks?  Was it in the mid '70's or so?  Wait a minute, don't care.

I had wondered about the T5 being used in GM cars and trucks but I didn't know for sure because, well they're just a damn Chevy.

And for those who care, isn't there a company somewhere that makes adapters to put almost any tranny and engine combo together?  Especially standard tranny's?

I think I'll go to a chevy site and turn some downtrotten individual away from the Dark Side.... later.

BOO HOO, BOO HOO Ya bunch of late model pussies. How many Chevys or how many cars have you owned period? I have had and built many of both Ford and Chevy cars and they are both good manufacturers and have or have had some awsome cars over the years. Chill out!!!

I have a 88LX convertible that I'm doing a 2.3T conversion on and have cut no corners on. I bought it because it's a convertible, fixed it up and it was sweet, but too slow. I bought a rag SVO and raped it for the drive train ( sorry SVOguys but it's just a hunk of iron) I am cutting any corners and it will be SWEEEEEEEEET!

All I'm saying guys is, don't get all ragged off over some ones comments about another manufactures vehicles if you have no experience with them. They are both good, and I hate to say it but I'm really dissapointed with GM because it seems that they have backed out of the high performance department and the Mustangs are some bad MFs. Don't think I'm not taking a ration of s**t from everone because I'm spending this kind of money on a Ford , But I've one bad bitch!!!!!!!!
