my point exactly...the stock tb is good for a while. start with a bigger intake, then MAF then later once you actually need it get the tb. the trickflow upper plenum w/tb added 7-8hp. how is that good for the $400 or so spent?

Ford Mach 1 catback with rolled chrome tips. Densecharger cold air intake with K&N air cleaner. Pro 5.0 short shifter. Ford 3.73 diff gears. Fordchip PCM chip to modify fuel injection curve and correct speedo for gears. Mach 1 grill delete and tinted windows.

it's an easy bolt on that will gain a few hp, and more as you continue to mod. so how is it not a good invesment?

hey man, nobody said it wasn't a good investment...you said it was a great upgrade for the money...good investment...yeah sure. good deal for the money? i don't think so

i got my C&L intake an MAC TB for under $300, including shipping. alot less than what they retail for. what the heck you want for $300?

ok...YOU got a good deal, way to go chief. but the average person is going to have to invest around what...450-500? all in all, tb is NOT a good deal for the money, there are obvious facts here man, i'm not trying to just prove you wrong.

building a 93 gt with a 351c. BOSS 302 heads, BOSS crank, BOSS rods, .60 over pistons with raised domes, edelbrock torker 2 intake, 750 double pumper, MSD pro billet distributor with 6AL box, line lock, 2 step rev limiter w 7300 and 1800 rpm pills, all suspension changed to SVO 5 lug and heavier sway bars, struts, tubular trailing arms etc., 8.8 rear with 4:56 gears. once its built i expect to be able to run mid to high 9s in the 1/8 mile. maybe im hoping for to much but once its done i will post some videos of my first passes.
