Hello. I'm new. Was just cruising the mustang boards to see what the reaction to the F5 is.

yeah but by the time that comes out, if indeed it does.. the shelby gt500 will be out, i dont think that camaro stands a chance against the gt500
Here's Bob Lutz's answer. He's talking about the Challenger but it's just as valid for the GT 500.
"And for those of you who might say, 'Well, the Challenger has 35 hp more,' I would just reply that we have a certified 1OO more on tap from the ZO6 engine, should the need arise."
You know that picture of the red maro isn't all that bad. It's just too "new". It's got that look that all new concepts have. Stick with the generations before. Those look like something for the 40 to 60 year old business man/retired type. IMHO

They need to stop taking crazy designs that look absolutely NOTHING like their previous models that everyone knows and loves and attaching a familiar name to them.
At least make it LOOK like a Camaro. Garbage, just like the GTO, Charger, Monte Carlo, etc...
I hope that the car in your profile is not yours, if you are going to boast about your mirada, an old ass fox body looking dodge that weighs half as much as any camaro. Then you have another thing coming. I would rather have my 600 hp 390 stroker LT1 that looks good, with a complete interior, than that thing. Don't get me wrong, but I really get tired of the 80's light weight car guys that are happy when they beat a new mustang or camaro. The new versions weigh much more. I really like the new mustang, its a good looking car but, in the long run though I would rather have a new camaro simply because I've always been a chevy guy.

yeah...everyone with three posts has a 600rwhp camaro on a mustang site...
i also have a 72 demon...but it doesnt have 600hp either, but im not compensating for anything...you talk down on my car because i point out that the new camaro will need a 500hp engine to outrun me?
you stopped by to talk trash on mustangs, and took a shot at me...why not get out and do something with yourself...thanks for dropping by.

We have only seen the same concept car for both the Camaro and the Challenger. The pics and links are all gone now so I guess I'll have to wait for the updated looks.

i have tons of pictures of the silver NAIAS debut camaro coupe, the orange NAIAS debut camaro vert, the red camaro coupe shown here, and the original challenger concept "DETCHA" car...ive had the pleasure of having been in the challenger concept to get some pictures, and i think that its a great car. i didnt like the camaro much as a coupe, but i think that the lines look GREAT on a vert.
Anyone seen the White and orange Yenko Maro? That is the only one i find attractive, the rest just resemble Cartman in the World of Warcraft episode when he's huge and bloated...seriously. The new maro looks bloated...

I do agree that there's something more satisfying about the look of the vert concept. I guess I never cared for the coupe concept's chop top too much. Let's see that thing with an actual production roofline......which will without a doubt be taller.
