Most of the people are only interested in Performance Modifications because they like the GO FAST stuff... BUT – I for one am trying to build up my car for “Show” as well. So I have been searching the world for places to get “Stuff” to fix up my car and here are some of the results. OF Course, I am telling you to check out the sponsers here for many of the fine products the offer FIRST. But if they don't have what your looking for here are some other places to look for those hard to find products! Many thanks to those who have contributed to finding those special deals and items that you can use to set your car apart from the rest of the pack. If you find something special, or a deal that is awesome for things you can find anywhere - Please post in this thread and I will edit/add to this main page. Enjoy Customizing your Mustang... =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Here is a place for Dash Kits. Not only is this the cheapest place to get the kits, BUT ALSO, on the Mustang kit they have, they cut out the word MUSTANG on the piece that goes over the glove box. Pretty cool! There are lots of things you can do with that by putting underlay behind it to make the letters stand out. They have a large variety of materials available. However, they will not “split” a kit so if you want to mix/match like I did, you have to buy two kits. http://www.wooddashexperts.com/customer/home.php?cat=2354 You can order 2 samples for free from them to help you decide what material you want. I purchased and installed Red/Black Carbon Fiber and a Real Aluminum kits from them for my car. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ If you are looking for paint to paint your exterior add-ons... try these! I bought paint from these guys… The color matched perfectly http://www.etouchup.com/ GREAT for the DIY guy wanting to paint that body mod himself. $35 to $40 with shipping (depending on where you live!) For 12 oz (enough to cover 6 square feet of area or a 2' x 3' area. Includes can of Clear Coat. (Although it isn’t the TOP quality – I would upgrade!) Does not include primer, but you really can use just about any primer. Here are some more sources for paint. http://www.levineautoparts.com/index.html http://www.automotiveenhancements.com http://www.paintworldinc.com http://www.paintscratch.com =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Are you looking for Decals / Stickers…. http://www.decalfx.com/ http://www.2005-mustang.com/ http://www.autotrimdesign.com/main.html http://www.speedgraphics.net/cgi-bin/quikstore.cgi?category=ford (Awesome site for those GT Under door stripes $40 And if your looking for Pin Stripe… http://www.stripeman.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Looking for that Vinyl Dye Spray to make the rear side panels match the front ones if you went with the RED Interior (For some stupid reason Ford decided to go cheap and not “red” the rear panels!). I am even thinking of dying the armrest so the front seat flows all the way across like the rear. http://www.autostyles.com/sem.htm http://www.vcnet.com/worlduph/semdye.htm =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Girls LOVE to get on my motorcycle - - but they somehow, inevitably, manage to scuff or scratch the gas tank while doing so. Here is the product I use to remove the scuff, scratches and haze. (NO!.. I am NOT going to tell a HOT nearly naked girl she can’t sit on my bike!) ha ha ha http://www.flitz.com This stuff is amazing! I also use it to buff the gold/brown tint off of the chrome exhaust pipes where they exit the engine. It removes it completely without a trace and really shines up the chrome. And YES… I do use it on my car all the time to remove scuffmarks and such from the paint, and also use it on my wheels. You can find several cheap sources on the net. You can also run to your local Ace Hardware Store and pick some up at reasonable prices if you don’t want to have to “Wait” for it to arrive. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Another option I went with on my Mustang was the Ford Automatic Day/Night mirror with Homelink Garage Opener built in... The dealer will install. Just click this link and search for mirror. http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/fas/consumer/fas_ConsumerSearchResults.asp it is cheaper without the Homelink and Temp options... =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Here is a site that keeps adding things… Miscellaneous stuff. http://www.cal-mustang.com And another site that has those rare "Painted" Mirror Inserts to make your mirros match your Mustang! http://midwestautogear.com/Products.htm =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ For those of you thinking of adding some of your own chrome... like on the grill or Convert Top Surround... (I’m putting a chrome strip across the front bumper reminiscent of the 69 – 74 mustangs with that thin chrome bumper in the front!) Here is one place I found with reasonable pricing as an option. http://www.flexchrome.com/Products/extruded.htm They measure in thousands of an inch… for those who aren’t good at math - Here is a conversion Chart. http://www.zerofast.com/chart01.htm =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Getting tired of holding your hood up? Ever knock that stupid Hood Support rod out of its hole and have the hood fall! Ever have the little retainer clip break and then have your hood support rod flop around with every bump. Try this! http://www.redlinetuning.com/QL-FORD-MUS-05.html They aren't cheap... but definitely better then the factory rod. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Are you wishing your headlights were brighter? Here is a site with H13 (9008) Xenon Halogen Upgrade bulbs - made by Nokya (A good brand) in the Arctic White Series. http://automotivelightingusa.com Shipping is pretty inexpensive (around $5) and they also have the Nokya Arctic White H10 bulbs so GT owners can get matching fog lights. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ So you don’t like the factory power outlet plug. Try this one from Seeda http://www.newedgeperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=254 =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ I found this site(s) with some quality Key Fobs for the mustang. Plain Mustang Key Fob with lazered Mustang Logo... http://1licenseplates.com/mustangchains.html Get the same thing here.. but with your initials imblazed on them... http://www.autoattire.com/keychainkeyfob.html And it's sister site will let you order it with your initials on the fob as well and they have other options for fancy Mustang fobs... http://www.cal-mustang.com/showdetl-7-7715-19-0.html Here is a good old fashioned leather fob with a round Mustang tribar logo plate: (Cheap) Also - while your in their site, look at the floor mat options... I purchased a cheap key fob and pulled the plastic Tribar Horse off of it - and then stuck it onto my Key….. NOW I have a Mustang Key! http://superiormustangparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ACC%2D180&cat=158 More fobs... http://www.cal-mustang.com/cm_able/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=7144&CATID=19&CM_SA =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Chase/Sequential taillights. http://www.meter4it.com/2005_Mustang.htm =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Did you get a CDC Roll Bar on your convertible and now you don't like the brake light coming on when your top is up? Go to http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm They have the solution! They also have Kits for: - Sequential Turn Signals - Break Light Pulsers - Rear Fog Lights - Dome Light Dimmers - One Touch Windows Nice site! =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Tired of the dust getting on your car... then cover it! Carcover: http://www.carcoverworld.com/Mustang.asp =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Hey don’t forget about Sunroofs: http://www.inalfasunroofs.com/news.php#7 More Power port covers: http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang2005_power_outlet_plug.html Shift knobs etc: http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang.html =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ I thought I would add this because although everyone knows CDC has Shaker Hood Scoops... it seems nobody knew they had the Horse Spinners... $100 bucks for 4 of them.. Very simular to the Factory ones. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/itemdisplay/659.html You can also get the Factory Spinners direct from Ford for $90 Click this link, enter spinner in the search field... http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/fas/consumer/fas_ConsumerHome.asp =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Here is a solution to adding your IPod or other MP3 player. http://www.installer-data.com/item/display_item.php?it=FRD04-AUX and another option: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-hZh8UCMwAMc/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?I=469FRD4AUX Gives you a block with audio inputs and plugs into J4 Jack on the back of the shaker... uses the AUX Function of the shaker to activate. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ On the Vert, the rear windows don't auto-down. Webelectrics now has a nifty easy kit that gives them the auto up/down feature. A MUST HAVE if you have an 05+ Vert. http://www.webelectricproducts.com/otw/05/otw1m5.htm =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Looking for that special pony emblazed on your head rest! http://www.headrestembroidery.com/ =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Another Source for Sequential tail lights if you don't want to have to do all the work the Metric Chaser lights require and do it for less money: M&M Electronics, contact teddy044@juno.com and he gave me a nice price for them. With this setup, there are no wires to try and hide since the units (one for each side) are small and can hide in the panel inside the trunk between the tail lights. They are $59.95 on E-Bay but 05BlueGT bought 2 sets for $100 with shipping included. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Want to change the look for the front of your mustang with a simple mod? (Thanks to 05BlueG for trackng this one down!T) GTR Style head light covers: Vantage Sports Cars in Florida is the only one that carriers these. Contact Don at 407-298-5010 or visit their web site at www.vantagesportscars.com and look at some of the Mustangs they either have or have sold. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Now... if you want an AWESOME looking way to keep your extra gauges... Check out the Piller Pods from Speed of Sound. They are made specificly for the 05 and newer mustangs and are of impressive quality. http://www.speedofsoundllc.com/2005-upMustangPod.html =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Don't like the look of the back of the car, so you want to fill between the tail lights.. HERE are a couple of Options... This is the one I have: http://www.lmperformance.com/5686/73.html http://www.partshopper.com/shop/CDC-Rear-Trim-Panel-2005-06-Mustang-m367.html Humboldt Stang found that one =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Here is a place to get chrome pieces to surround your GT Foglights if you want to dress up that grill a bit! http://www.v8power.com/item--Billetpro-2005-Mustang-Billet-Fog-Light-Bezels--BPR6070.html =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Do you want to paint your Brake Calipers? I recently did mine using GT Caliper Paint. Great stuff designed specifically to last through the heat generated by those HOT Stops we make! I purchased mine through hubcapsplus.com for $39. http://wheelskin.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=BRAKE+CALIPER+PAINT NOW - I have to warn you - this paint uses a Catalyst you have to add before painting - because of this process you will NOT be able to keep that paint around for touchups and must use it right away. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ After you paint those Calipers, maybe you want them to look a little cooler with a Mustang Pony or “Mustang” on them. I found some awesome heavy decals made just for this perpose at Xenonmods.com for under 10 bucks. http://www.xenonmods.com/ =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Thinking about painting your Valve Covers or other Engine Parts? I hang with a few Custom Hot Rod Builders, and they turned me onto some awesome paint designed specifically for this purpose. The stuff is available at http://www.por15store.com/ and you can read all about it on their site. I got the "Ford Corp Blue" for my baby and it looks AWESOME! Link directly to the High Temp Paints - http://www.por15store.com/page/por15/CTGY/HiTemp FYI: the Pint is WAY more then you need for your Valve Covers. I also want to warn you it takes forever for this paint to cure... but once it is dry, it is smoooooooth, glossy and hard as a rock. The Header Paint is some cool stuff too. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ With Gas getting over $3 a gallon, people are starting to steal gas out of cars on the streets and driveways. With such a HOT car as the new Mustang is, people keep wanting to dump stuff in your gas tank! Protect yourself with a locking gas cap... one of the best is the Stant 10510. They are around $13 at Rock Automotive. https://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/mfr,STANT,FuelxxslashxxAir,5900,Fuel+Tank+Cap =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+

I got my dash kit from wooddashexperts. I have some Real Aluminum.. and some Red/Black Carbon fibor. Intall was easy, however teadious as it requires a bit of patience. don't try it if your overcooked on coffee! I feel they look great! They just stick on - - the entire back side is covered with 3M Sticky... and once they are on.. you are NOT going to get them off without totally destroying the dash! Thumbnail Image

Just received my "Chrome Trim Kit" from a seller on ebay called "e_seller05" BUYER BEWARE ON THIS ONE....... The picture looks great, but what you will receive is a package containing flat chrome stick-on moulding. You have to figure out how to make it curve around while still staying flat and HOPE it comes out like the picture. He didn't even include alcohol wipes to clean before you stick. PLUS, there's a note in the package letting you know that if you leave bad feedback you can expect to be flamed..."If I receive bad feedback, you can expect the same in return" SO...if you WANT flat moulding, then by all means buy this item, but if you're like me and expected a pre-made item then don't waste your $30.00 on this stuff, just go to the local detail shop and buy it by the foot! Hope this helps someone!
