So, it snowed a bit here on the east coast yesterday. Anyone with the factory All Season tires have good or bad things to report?
Make sure you include which tire and size you're running....17" or 18" BFGoodrich, etc.
I got my car late last January--immediately after a snow storm--and drove it every day through the remaining storms. I had the stock Pirelli tires (235/55r17) and as long as I kept the traction control on AND didn't drive like a jerk the car was unbelievably stable in 3-4 inches of snow and slush. This is with a 5 sp manual. The downer was visiting the car wash 3-4 times a week to clean off the chemical deicer residues.
Those wheels and tires are now in a corner of the garage, and I have summer performance tires. And I now have a custom paint job. So the car stays in the garage and I drive the '04 Mustang with BFGoodrich KDWS tires.
Soooo, if you're going to drive the car, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

it snowed/melted/refroze and kept on snowing here... my tires sucked. they take to normal roads nicely but roads with anything short of a turn i felt my rears slipping. Its punnishment for buying a RWD car
