I see a lot of people seem negative about the 2005 mustang. You guys need to check out the pictures from this site at the Detroit car show. A friend on here took the pictures and the car is so awesome it makes your head hurt. From what I was told the picture of the stang at the car show is not a concept model. There will be a couple changes that will be unnoticable from what I was told, and what executives and managers say. Stop looking at the V6. The GT is where it is at and looks GREAT! If you don't like the new mustang someone should hit you over the head with a frying pan. No Pund intended.

I've been reading discussions about the production car vs. the concept and I think we're all forgetting some things...

- the concept had no bumpers
- no door handles
- no rear seat
- not enough ground clearance
- unrealistic head room
- etc. (It's a concept!)

If you line up the concept and a production picture you will see that Ford stayed very close to the concept in all aspects. Even the interior has many of the same design elements.

My opinion: This is the best Mustang ever, hands down! (I'm still waiting for the Cobra or a Shelby model) I've seen one in person at a car show... WOW! It looks tough.

Also remember, Ford is only releasing the V6 and GT models now. They will for sure have other variations with higher performance and revised styling in the future (think Bullitt and Mach 1).

I dont think the styling of the '05 Mustang GT is controversial at all...it looks retro, is this not what people have been asking for? People used to say "Oh the mustang doesn't even look like a real mustang anymore"..well now it does, so what are you complaining about?
