that looks nice. i still havnt figured out how to change the paint colors, while keeping the shadows/reflections.... if someone could be kind enough to give me a small writeup on how its done, thatd be awesome.
Here's what you do.
Create a duplicate layer of the image you're working with. Turn off the original to get that out of the way. Make sure you are on the new layer. User the eraser tool and remove everything but the body of the car. This includes all windows, tires, headlights, etc. Once you got that done, then magic wand select the everywhere in the blank areas. Do a Select Inverse to get just the body of car. Go to layer>>Adjust Hue/Saturation and play with those settings. You are kind of limited on which colors will appear but at least you'll keep the lighting.
Play around with the other adjustments. I use Brightness/Contrast to shade the windows.
that's one way to do it and it works but i preffer selecting the body with the polygonal lasso, then i feather the selection usually between 0.2~0.8 and then i play around with the hue/saturation, brightness/contrast and color adjust.

Here's my entry. Basically, I lowered the roof, changed the paint, modded the grill, modded the spoiler, new rims, and lowered the front and rear bumper. Oh and I also removed some doors.

Cool concept...a little rough...but still pretty cool

Damn HC - that's simply amazing. JonBeast's is incredible, too. You guys have some amazing skills!
If you guys ever square off on a truck chop, we have a gorgeous '03 Dodge Cummins turbo diesel here at the house. I could take some high-res pics if you might be interested in looking at it. The only exterior mod is a Billet grill. She has some sexy lines for such a big-ass truck. Maybe it's just all the mad-crazy torque that I like, idk. At any rate, it's a sweet truck. If you want some pics, PM me & I'll post 'em.

Well, i'm a thread stealer so here we go, by hi-res camera would a 6 or + megapixel digital camera take good hi-res shots?
yes that's very hi-rez...i consider anything above 3megapixel hi-rez. people are wasting their money buying anything higher than that, 3megapixel is poster size, i personaly don't know anyone who has a poster size printer.

my friend has a 3 mega pixel camera, i dont know why but with that resolution it takes really bad close-ups. but the 5mp one i got takes crystal clear shots both far and near.

ok so i found some extra time on my hands, and as do many people on here probabaly, i like to mess around on PS... ok well i have the ****ty rip off version, but thats besides the point. so i decided to do a more serious-ish version of the bmw concept. i call it, Stang De German. i screwed up the grill, but whatever.

So I guess ill be done for now. I kept it simple. M3 front bumper, new headlights, shaved the bumpers, door handles, and emblem, more mirror tint, rims, and thats about it so far.
