Sure there are quick cars out there. I take it cobalt is one of them. But that doesnt change the fact that, that car is ugly as ****. If anyone is going to drive that I can see a girl drive it, no guy should be driving that, same with the dodge neon. There both so ugly. Front wheel drive cars should be left to family cars. They will never been in the sports car catagory, ever. I like four cylinders, theres the lotus elise, yamaha R1...... But they have to be either all-wheel drive or rear wheel drive.

I believe that the supercharger was stock. It didnt sound good at all it really sounded Shi*ty. Really Shi*ty. Everyone here knows that the AOD mustang blows a big one without a doubt so maybe he did win. I read an article about the match up against the SS and a SRT-4 and the SS lost by maybe .1 or .2 so it would be almost the same as the SRT-4. Match the SS against a stick mustang and it would be a different story from that video. Especially if it had the 4.10 gears in it.

An altima??? The V6 manual will BARELY beat me a V6 2000 manual mustang... I have a neighbor/jackass around here that has a V6 auto Altima..he's tried twice in teh last few weeks to race and both times he hung until 60 and then I walked him. From a roll the first time and from a dig the second. From the dig I jumped a car on him until I hit third then it was more like three or four car lengths until i let off the gas at 90... an altima..puh-leeezzzzzzz....
You would have to mod a Maxima to beat a GT. My father in law has one and if he's not on it out of the hole I can stick with him (v6 manual). If he whomps it from a dig and uses the auto-stick he'll own me out of the dig and walk away. From a roll they're dogs, just like the Altima.
As for the cobalt SS, i've only seen two around here, one on the street, going a different direction than me and another on the freeway with new plates.. he didn't want to race even though there wasn't any traffic... Being new he was probably babying it so I won't complain.
I found this video on the net, i think its pretty funny, some dude in his cobalt ss thinks he actually hung with a subaru wrx sti, when in fact its not even a sti wrx he is racing, its just a regular base model, you can hear him and his rice buddies bragging about putting it on the net, now im not tryna bash all these guys out here with Cobalts, but some of these guys are just plain stupid, i'd be willing to race this guy anyday since he thinks he can beat GTs so much and this time we will even it up a bit, stick vs. stick and what seems a little fishy to me, you are claiming you have a stock Cobalt SS and you beat a 99-04 mustang gt with gears, chip, and hpipe with flows seems kinda strange to me even though it was an auto
guy driving a ss is like a guy in a del sol...gay anyway the b18c1 is the gsr motor and the b18c5 is the typr just to clear that out. i dont consider myself as a great driver but the other night on the way home from work a civic 4 witha 22ft muffler and a ss where sitting at the light reving there dirtbikes and i pulled up it was : (ss ****vic stang) at the light i pull up and the buddy in the civic asks if i wanna race them. i dont really like street racing but sometimes u gotta put them in there place. the guy said man u and your family ford ( he was too stupid to hear or look at my car really) i go ok, turns green i spin my tires a lil in first (90 lx 5.0) by second the civic is fallkin back pretty good , the ss stayed for a bit and i pulled a lil past him in 3rd and he backed off well, this is the proof to me i got nothing to worry about, maybe if these idiots stop putting rims so big they get fender rub and wonder y there car is slower when they put in 4 12" suns 5 amps and 18 speakers and build there cars right like some i know with stock looking teggies that will put down low 12s high 11s that could hand me my a$$ real easy and also learn to drive

F-Bodies? ok I agree... STOCK for STOCK F-Body Ls1s take GT's hands down.
however... I go to the track every fir and sat and there has been 2 altimas in all my times going... one ran a 16.2 or something (only saw it run once) and the other was running low 15's all night (it was a maxima SE actually)
SO Chill out.
I run a 13.7's all night- and I have LC ARMS, GEARS and TIRES. I dont even have a AIR FILTER... all STOCK except for the above.
BONE STOCK I ran a all time best of 14.2 in my "CRAPPY 04 AUTO GT"

if i could figure out this fax machine i would send some pics but im yet to do that.. in my garage we keep all my buddies bikes..2 have honda's 400ex's and 1 has a 450r..a z400 a 660raptor and another yfz450 and a banshee The only competition i get is from justins yfz 450..its close with the 450r and the 660 on topend..but down low they cant touch me.. mine is bored..jetted, got both powernows..k&n no lid, sprocket, full exhaust, rethal bar, full skid plates, nerf bars, custom grips, 6pack rack, front bumper.. its for sale little over 10k invested its an 05 sellin it for like 5grand im go about 175lbs and i can get it up in 4 gears
