I love the new mustang. I saw some photo's of a mustang at the Detroit show. The car looks like it could be in the range of 35K. How much was the show car price. I hope the GT model is no more than 26k so I can afford one. Please reply if someone knows.

From what I know the LX's will be around 20k and the GT's around 30

the GT will definately be more then 26k since the GT will be the Performance Mustang. Ford is dropping the cobra production for 05 because they're coming out with the 06 "Shelby Cobra" limited edition v10. U saw the detroit show, u should know this. Look for the GT to be up in the 30k range, Especially since the GT is rumored to make somewhere in the upward 300HP range(rumor, i don't know for sure).

Ford says the pricing of the GT model is going to be right around close to where it is now....I sure hope so, or i might have to "settle" with a V6.

I was last monday in a Ford delaer and I asked the manager about the new GT and he said that the GT will be no less than $29 999... they should come out around september..
