HUGE PROB. with photoshop CS

i was just working on a project an somthing happened, wasnt saved then dissapeared thats fine i can re do it BUT now when i try to use my Text tool NO TEXT SHOWS even if i try changing the color anyone kno whats happening???

Does the text box get longer as u type? Like....are the letters typing....just not showing?

Maybe the opacity is 0% or something.....it could be a lot of things.

No i type and have opacity is 100% then when i type, for example XXX it shows up on the layer for the name just does not show on the box im working in.

try changing fonts or maybe the size is too small

Do you have the layer ON TOP of the layer before it...?

You have to make sure text layers are on top of all the other layers.....its prolly just typing under the background or something.

no i dont kno what happened but all of a sudden it works ha. i just turned off the computer an yelled at it and it came back.
