Default HEARTBEAT OF TOKYO

we went street racing last weekend and my buddy was challenged by a civic(95ish model 4 door) anyhoo hes got an 03 cobra (stock) i told him that something didnt sound right. its an unwritten rule that hondas dont challenge 03 cobras. i said if he didnt want to run for money then he should pop his hood if (when) you win. so my buddy never turns down a challenge and they line up. they launced and it was so close. they stayed side by side until the cobra hit 4th and he pulled on the honda half a length. well as promised the dude popped his hood. turns out the guys runnin a supercharger and nitrous on a b-18 or v-12 or f-16 or what ever they call them jap motors. i get them mixed up. we were joking with my friend saying that he could go home braging that he beat a honda.

I've seen 12-second Hondas before. You just never know until you actually line 'em up. Never underestimate a car unless you know what it's got.

Usually they're pretty easy to spot. There is this douche that goes out street racing with us now and then. Well, not with us, but he shows up there. He's got a turbo'd and N20 hatch. The thing is completely gutted. Like a rolling tin can. It doesn't look like it's all riced out or anything, but a glance inside and it's clear that it's a Honda that means business. Saddly, I hear it runs mid 12's. But he won't ever race anyone. He just talks **** and cries for spots.

Sound like a B18B non-vtec build. with the S/C & N2O... That would put him in the 12sec area. S/C are weak on hondas top end & put out low numbers... good torque tho. Cobras are fun cars to line up against cuz I never know what extra toys they got under the hood lol

There are some bad ass hondas out there. A guy I know has a CRX. It looks like it is beat to all hell but he runs 11.70s. It looks like it is going to fall apart any minute but when you watch it run down the track, it is crazy.
