Geezzz..just buy a frigging convertible mustang if you want one so bad..don't destroy the mustang name by making it a friggin miata knock-off.

Maybe I'm missing the point (I hope so, anyway...), but if you're gonna throw a ton of money at a Miata to make it look like something else, then why not just BUY something else to start with???

I though this was kinda cool. They did a good job resembling a viper for what they had to work with.

No...but if you take a Miata and add bodywork to make it look like a Mustang and call it a Mustang speedster, is it a Mustang? No. The two types of cars are completely uncomparable, so why bother fight over it?
