Maybe I'm missing the point (I hope so, anyway...), but if you're gonna throw a ton of money at a Miata to make it look like something else, then why not just BUY something else to start with???

No...but if you take a Miata and add bodywork to make it look like a Mustang and call it a Mustang speedster, is it a Mustang? No. The two types of cars are completely uncomparable, so why bother fight over it?

12999.99 would be better spent stuffing a Supercharged 5.0 or 4.6 in the miata and keeping it a stock sleeper miata.

I still would want a v8 focus though.

Do you guys remember the Monster Miata? They took a 5.0 and bolted it into the Miata. Apparently it drops right in. That thing was actually badass. But they didn't try to clone a Mustang with it. It was just a Miata with a 5.0.

i'm not fighting over anything... i would just like to give my opinion that the car doesn't look THAT bad, i'm not saying it's great, i just think it's not the ugliest thing i've seen. i would appreciate being able to state my opinions without being reffered to as gay, does that bother you Gaylord ?[8D]
