bandit, ever hear of free horsepower? nope? I didn't think so. FREE hp doesn't cost you a damn penny. You know what it is? Weight reduction. Rip the **** outta your CRX and you have yourself a 2000 lb car. spend 5 grand on an ITR B18c5 swap and you have yourself a 2000 lb car with 195 hp running mid 13s to high 12s all freaking day long. End of story, there is no arguement to that because I KNOW I AM RIGHT. Thank you very much.

Owned...You talk a lot of **** for a fella who's never owned a high performance car in his life. You have a 160 horsepower civic. Fella mustangs were producing that much back in the early 80's...As for ripping out seat's...only the ricer idiots have to do **** like that..and that's because there engine can't produce enough power to support the extra weight.

Try talking about performance cars when you own one...You don't, so keep those stupid comments to your self..IF you want to talk about ripping out seats...you can take a stock 99+ GT rip out the seats and you will run 12's. Honda's are not performance cars...They tried that crap with the prelude...but they were way overpriced and could only muster 14.9'S at best....

Heck the V-6 stang can hit those numbers with a really good driver...in the right conditions....for about half the price...I'm so sick of hearing b this and b that...Those motors are all after market engines....If that's the case let me get a GT40 Crate motor for about $2,500...believe me that's alot cheaper than it would cost to get a honda performance motor and the results would be unbelieveable..

One more thing...The CRX only has two seats, so if you rip one of them out...that's not gonna save you that much weight and your really gonna look like an idiot driving around with one seat in your car....You ricer fellas are really stupid...And that comment just proves it...You fellas have to come on Mustang, Firebird, and Camaro's sites to try and prove yourself.

IF any of you out there doubt the potential of Mustangs i will advice you to check out the Latest ADDITIONS OF MUSCLE MUSTANG AND FAST FORDS. They tested 3 stangs..The Cobra, Mach 1 and the GT...The GT was automatic and it ran 14 seconds flat...Imagine what a five speed would have run...

The Mach 1 Ran 13.1 at 105 and the Cobra Convertible ran 12.7@111. They commented several times on the article Hotrod did back in January....They really blasted those idiots and all your ricer idiot who think the WRX can run with the Cobra...Wake up owned...It takes a lot for you guys to come out and play with the big boys. Now you just accept that...and you will be a better man.

Why do I have to own an overpriced, underpowered baby 281 ci V8 before I can talk about them, and when was I talking **** about them? I stated nothing but facts, facts stemming from events which have taken place through out the country. I never made a stupid comment, I was simply stating the truth...but of course the truth is stupid and irrelevent when it doesn't portray the Mustang in a better light than any other type of transportation out there. Free horsepower is free horsepower, whether you choose to admit it or not is irrelevant. What matters is people have, can and will continue to run times and whoop up on V8s.

I know my car is slow, if I wanted a fast car I'd have an LS1 Z28. So why are we back on this excuse again?

You want to chat about a V6 mustang? For one, mid 90s V6s ran a blistering 17 second quarter mile, enough to get blasted by a bone stock Si...hell a 1st generation Escort LX would run dead even with it. Next, that's not even a pony car, and the new ones can barely even run a low 15 completely stock. I don't know where you're pulling this information from, I do know it can't be from any factual events. If you want to talk about Preludes fine, I knew a guy running full interior, all motor in the low 14s daily. Just imagine what a turbo kit will do for that car. You think they're overpriced? Look at the GT my friend, the Z28 beat it in base price, gas mileage, AND quarter mile times. Now what did you say was overpriced again?

Wow you like Mustangs! So do I but I know they're not the end all be all of cars so get off of your high horse (no pun intended) and realize that I'm not the enemy. The guys running 10 second Camaros are your enemy. Go bicker with them and stop trying to insult me because I don't own a Mustang.

When did I EVER say the WRX ran with the Mach I or Cobra? STOP PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!! WRXs will run with GTs and STi's will run with Mach Is easily. Don't bash me on that, because anybody who has been to the track lately has seen it happen.

When did I ever come to this site to try to prove myself? I came to learn about Mustangs, but all I can see is the ignorance showing through posting up mis information and absolute lies. This is a Mustang board I know, so don't whine at me about that, but that doesn't mean the Mustang is top dawg.

B this b that? aftermarket? huh?? My bone stock Si engine is a b16a2, with an EDELBROCK turbo kit i could put down 250 hp out of a 1.6. That's right. 10 less hp than a GT. "but but it won't have any torque..." blah blah who cares? 250 hp is good for low 14s easy.

I don't care if you think I'm a kid I don't care if you think I'm making this up. Facts are facts. If you can't accept it maybe you should stay off the internet because not everyone is going to agree with everything you say all the time.

It personally amazes me how much **** people with high performance cars that can't use 'em talk (not pointing fingers, but look at the people that pay for insanely custom rides and can't drive worth a ****.)

Since when does what you drive reflect what you know about automobiles?

Shut the f&ck up you drive a saturn. Let me guess your broke ass couldn't afford a real muscle car so you had to get a b=3ch ride instead. There's a big difference in a 160 horsepower car and one that has 260 and if you don't own one or hasn't own one...don't try and tell me **** about one. That's my point. I still haven't forgot about the racist **** you posted yesterday...You can come on here and try to take shots at me all you want...If would be completely different if i was there...That i promise you.

Cool. You own a very expensive stang. that doesn't mean everyone wants to spend all their money on one too. Just because I don't own a Mustang don't mean i've never EVER driven one...what you were saying to me is complete ignorance, you can't possibly know my background, but you assume because I like getting 25+ mpg city that I've never been behind the wheel of a 5 speed 2001 Mustang GT convertible, or a 2000 (if I remember right it was a 2000) Camaro SS 6 sp.

If owning a fast car so I could have bragging rights over a four banger then I would have an 02 SS 6 sp with Ttops, probably either black or red... and I wouldn't have the stock 350 LS1 in it for long. Can you say Supercharger...or 396? YUMMY.

Point being, before you talk about other peoples experience or knowledge, learn first...that way you won't be reaching in the dark for a petty **** arguement which is completely untrue.

For starters, I wasn't pointing anyone out, nor was I alluding to anyone.

Thaks for proving MY point that the car you drive makes no difference in what you KNOW.

Ah yes, the TA TT... I have a video of some guy in Detroit owning a Yamaha GSXR 1000 in his, with a passenger even. I forget his name but he's known on f-bodyhideout.com. I'd still like an SS shell with a 396 and 650+ ft lbs of torque under the hood.
