Mine is a PRIME example (5.0)...... and im sure youve seen the video of the civic running against the viper on the street and "winning". That viper WAS NOT TRYING at all. not in the least. I am around stock and high performance upgraded vipers almost every weekend, and i can tell if one is trying or not, and believe me, that viper wasnt trying for ****.

crx's weigh under 2000 lbs. and from a roll w/ motor swap plus turbo they will own many cars. the downfall for a fwd car is the launch. awd>rwd>fwd...period.

WRX Dude....why are you fellas always talking about forced induction....talk about normally aspirated rides...Hell any car can be made faster with Superchargers and Turbo's....Look at what a low boost supercharger did with the Cobra.......I hate that i have a supercharged car....There's nothing in the world better than good ole V8 Normally Aspirated horsepower....When it's tuned properly...It's UNBEATABLE.

Not necessarily true, slicks play a great importance in this. After the launch, rwd is greater. AWD has OWNED me several times outta the hole.

BIG WHOPITY ****IN DO DA!

You spent more cash on your ride than I did on mine, and you feel you have to prove that how? I drive a SATURN! If you COULDN'T do that you should be SHOT.

People with slicks go to the drags, you should go more often. You'll see quite a bit more people with slicks on their dailys than you thought there were previously

Asshole I was talking about on the street not at the track...If you would have read the post properly you would noticed that. I live out in washington state...It rains ever other day here...So no i don't get to the track as often as i'd like..It's no fun when your car's twice as fast as any other car there..I don't have time and money to be wasting on idiots only running high 15's low 16's.

I want 635 whp dammit........ GET OFF MY 236! AWD is for ****ing pussies, its only good for the launch, its basically cheapest way to win a drag race. Race an AWD car on the highway, youll see a huge difference in performance.

bandit, ever hear of free horsepower? nope? I didn't think so. FREE hp doesn't cost you a damn penny. You know what it is? Weight reduction. Rip the **** outta your CRX and you have yourself a 2000 lb car. spend 5 grand on an ITR B18c5 swap and you have yourself a 2000 lb car with 195 hp running mid 13s to high 12s all freaking day long. End of story, there is no arguement to that because I KNOW I AM RIGHT. Thank you very much.

Yeah, whatever. Thats hilarious that you say he wasn't trying because the camera was IN THE VIPER. watching the EK hatch KEEP UP WITH HIM...when i get my cable hooked up at my apartment I'll search for it, until then I don't have any intardnet access over there.

he wasnt trying, you have no idea what your talking about, look at the background, the viper isnt moving its full speed, if u believe so your a moron. I cant find the post, but u said something about me saying i had 233hp in my civic? i dunno who said that, but it wasnt me. I might have had 200 to the crank if i was lucky with the 75 shot. Stop getting all high and mighty on your VTEC, its nothing but NATURAL LAG. VTEC equipped cars are nothing but gas saver econo cars. With natural lag. If honda wanted the SI to be anything more than a econo car with a "peppy" engine they would have no need for VTEC, because it wouldnt be variable valve timing anymore, it would be a performance oriented car, but, sadly, with less gas mileage. VTEC is not revolutionary, because it has been around forever and anyone outside the car performance world has no idea what it is. VTEC is nothing but an economically sad version of a "sports car". ford could develope a VTEC, but then they wouldnt have the power they once had, and wouldnt be considered a sports car anymore, but a gas saving girl car.

sorry, awd isnt cheap. and its not just for drag racing. awd owns in poor weather also. i live in washington and have driven my car everyday this winter. so again awd owns. my awd does help me drag, but so does my 9 lbs per hp.

YOU my friend, are an ass. That Civic was a mid-high 10s car, as was the Viper. Cheezefrog is well known for building 10s Civics. Before you try and act like you know what you're talking about, do some research.

Owned...You talk a lot of **** for a fella who's never owned a high performance car in his life. You have a 160 horsepower civic. Fella mustangs were producing that much back in the early 80's...As for ripping out seat's...only the ricer idiots have to do **** like that..and that's because there engine can't produce enough power to support the extra weight.

Try talking about performance cars when you own one...You don't, so keep those stupid comments to your self..IF you want to talk about ripping out seats...you can take a stock 99+ GT rip out the seats and you will run 12's. Honda's are not performance cars...They tried that crap with the prelude...but they were way overpriced and could only muster 14.9'S at best....

Heck the V-6 stang can hit those numbers with a really good driver...in the right conditions....for about half the price...I'm so sick of hearing b this and b that...Those motors are all after market engines....If that's the case let me get a GT40 Crate motor for about $2,500...believe me that's alot cheaper than it would cost to get a honda performance motor and the results would be unbelieveable..

One more thing...The CRX only has two seats, so if you rip one of them out...that's not gonna save you that much weight and your really gonna look like an idiot driving around with one seat in your car....You ricer fellas are really stupid...And that comment just proves it...You fellas have to come on Mustang, Firebird, and Camaro's sites to try and prove yourself.

IF any of you out there doubt the potential of Mustangs i will advice you to check out the Latest ADDITIONS OF MUSCLE MUSTANG AND FAST FORDS. They tested 3 stangs..The Cobra, Mach 1 and the GT...The GT was automatic and it ran 14 seconds flat...Imagine what a five speed would have run...

The Mach 1 Ran 13.1 at 105 and the Cobra Convertible ran 12.7@111. They commented several times on the article Hotrod did back in January....They really blasted those idiots and all your ricer idiot who think the WRX can run with the Cobra...Wake up owned...It takes a lot for you guys to come out and play with the big boys. Now you just accept that...and you will be a better man.
