now who has the balls to admit they have been beaten by an import?? I do. when my gt was pretty stock, I was cruisin on the highway at about 100, and I blew past a vr6 golf, about a min later he came flyyyin by me, so I gave chace, we went back and forth for a few mins, and when we had so clear lanes we both went for it, I was like there is no way this golf can do this...it has to be modded,sure enough I could hearthe turbo spool up as he pulled me. boo to that! It will never happen again! Dont be scared to admita loss, it should only inspire you to spend more money to insure it doesnt happen again!

haha hell yea, but I have my eyes on the cobras and camaros now.... I'm lookin to be running high high 12's- low 13's on the bottle (100shot) which seems reasonable with a little traction! my 03 is fairly modded.
I've been beat by a bunch of imports when I had my Escort...Civic Si's, Integra GSRs, etc. </P>
When I bought my Si I got my ass literally DESTROYED by a Z28...that was the last time I raced...i remember it was October 4th. <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0"></P>
Honestly, I wasn't really even racing him as in I rev, he responds, and we go, etc.</P>
I didn't even know he was over there. We were on a three lane road and there was a van between us, I just took off, wound out myengine,shifted to second, looked over and he just fuggin flew right by me...I count that as a kill because I was pushing my engine all the way out and he.... well...he was gone. lol <IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"></P>
wow...this topic is great...just run him off the rode like that other guy said he might just lose big wing,groud effects in the process my 88' Honda LOOKS completely stock, besides the hood. and the only reason i got the stupid hood was because the turbo wouldn't fit. I dont have a problem with imports...you can make anything fast if you have the money i hope this isn't directly aimed at imports. my whole setup cost 5k and it runs 7.8's in the 1/8th...pretty decent. of course, i got the motor for a pretty cheap price, but still...5k total.When I bought my Si I got my ass literally DESTROYED by a Z28. i really hope you didn't expect to win that one <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">...haha
