If you find a good shop to do it, having it fabbed up might be cheaper. I was originally going to go to a X pipe but now am really considering a H pipe instead.

having heard the amazing difference the h-pipe makes for sound, i decided to go with it. X wont improve your speed all that much, so its not worth it to me.

rygen......for what reason would you be considering an H-Pipe? what are the comparisons between Y-Pipe, H-Pipe, and X-Pipe?.....i'm happy with my H but just curious on the differences.

An H pipe and X pipe add more power then the y because it would be real duals. The H pipe sounds better then the X pipe but the X would give more performance. I am actually thinking about getting an H because i want my exhaust to be alittle deeper.

The only way to get a true comparison is for the audio to be recorded by the same system (mic/camera, etc.) There is really too much difference between recordings from different systems.

So, if you want to compare the various recordings that I made, the only fair comparison is amongst themselves. Comparing to somebody else's might mislead you...

I am in the process of trying to firgure out which one I want, an X pipe or an H pipe. The X pipes made by magnaflow are listed on ebay for $80, but I cannot find any H pipes. I guess I need to find out more info from my local shop. I definatly want a louder sound.
