Status: offline does any one know how to get those damn bushings out of the rearend housing with out dropping the rearend to get them out? i have a puller from the dealer i work at and it says its the right one but its too big. i cant get the damn things out. any usefull information is appretiated. any one out there done them before please right back. i have mac upper and lower control arms and two new polyurethane bushings for the uppers. i have a 1989 GT

Status: offline air chisel out,,,air hammer in.put new bushings in freezer for 30 min. while taking old bushings out ,,will go in easier.

Status: offline clean that housing too real good , get all the rust out i used some old abrasive rolls one time cuz it was so bad ,

Status: offline Your going to have to drop the rear end, just do it and it will make getting them out a lot easier.
