does any one know how to get those damn bushings out of the rearend housing with out dropping the rearend to get them out? i have a puller from the dealer i work at and it says its the right one but its too big. i cant get the damn things out. any usefull information is appretiated. any one out there done them before please right back. i have mac upper and lower control arms and two new polyurethane bushings for the uppers. i have a 1989 GT

air chisel out,,,air hammer in.put new bushings in freezer for 30 min. while taking old bushings out ,,will go in easier.

lots of lube...if your not reusing them..then destroy them toget them out

clean that housing too real good , get all the rust out i used some old abrasive rolls one time cuz it was so bad ,

Your going to have to drop the rear end, just do it and it will make getting them out a lot easier.
