Default Animated Sig

Could anyone post a TUT. for animating a sig?? i want to learn how to animate them but have no clue how to get even started. i am using photoshop CS and Image ready that came with it.

my sig is the 2nd sig i have ever made an i have no clue why it has all the white around it. haha

if want your background to look transparent you have 2 options.

1. (my favourite) match your background to the forums background, the RGB is 241,241,241 (light grey) then you can save in .jpg, that's why it's my favourite, you don't lose any quality in .jpg.

2. (i only use this for animations) work with a transparent background layer in PS, then save it as a .gif instaed of .jpg, don't forget to check the transparency box when you save. gif loses a bit of quality though, but it's pretty much the only way to animate in ImageReady, it won't work with .jpg.

Using macromedia flash and publishing as a gif is another easy method to create animated gifs. I used it to create my sig. Took about 5 minutes.

You can download a 30 trial from macromedia or your usual method to get software (wink, wink)

maybe you could make a tutorial about animations using flash. i never got around to playing with it much, would be a nice program to experiment with.
