After seeing the outragous mark up of Mustang prices...such as $32,000 for a conv. V6[sm=bs.gif]...I'm afraid that even though they are going to be below $40,000(MSRP) dealers are going to bump them up to about $50,000. Anyone else feel this way????
Maybe its just me but even if it does have Shelby's name on it it should NOT cost more than a Vette...whatever happened to the "affordable ponycar" ...$40 grand for a conv. GT pisses me off... Maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself...

I recall reading in a magazine that the GT500 will have a m.s.r.p for around 45,000..But ya probley because the limited supply of them dealers will boost the prise up[:'(]
Yeah the mark up will suck. The new ones are so freakin popular around were I live it crazy.

From what I read, the MSRP of the coupe is going to be under $40,000! If that's the case, unnder $40,000 for a 450 HP is pretty good but like someone else said, the mark up and limited availability will put them out of the "ordinary" person's price range.

i cant see spending that much for a gt w/ a stripe and a bigger engine. Id rather have an older viper
Me either. Look at the 65-70 Shelby's. Just Mustangs with stripes and some engine work that are worth nothing more than any other 65-70 Mustang these days...
