I am defenitly goin to get a mustang, now i come to the delemma should i spend all my cash on a 99 cobra and have nothing left to soup it up or should i buy a 99 GT and still have a couple thousand to soup. From what i understand the Cobra had 60 more hp but also weights more. The 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are also very close, (maybe 2thenth's different) Im lookin for the fastest car for the money i got.
Any suggestions are really appreciated

Yeah dude go for the Cobra. In the long run it will always add up to more power when you start modding it. Not to mention the snake just looks damn cool. <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">

What you need to do is accept the fact that no matter what you get, you will modify it. You may have to wait a while if you get the cobra, but you are starting with a better foundation. If I had the choice, I woulddefinitely go with the cobra. Better to start with a 4 valve motor, independent rear suspension, and big brakes. Just my humble opinion...

Cobra all the way. You'll be happier in the long run. Not to mention that the GT is probably just getting close to the Cobra's power level with it's mods already, and once you open up the Cobra with some good air flow, and maybe even some heads and gears, your golden.
