I got a 92 notch back, its got lots of bolt ons and im running a 100 shot. we figger its around 350 to 400 hp to the cranck on the bottle. but im getting bored with it. i want it to feel like its on the bottle ALL the time. so i was wondering whats a good setup for around the same power, but i would like to keep some gas milege i do alot of driving. was thinking a supercharger, or make it a 347. and the guy that works on my car will put in a 351 carb setup for 5000 buck canadian, but i think i would my km to a tank with that setup. any thoughts??

I would get the supercharger as it will give you the most power right away. Plus the power is always there unlike the bottle. You can then stroke the motor later. I am doing the reverse i.e. getting the motor stroked 1st then adding the s/c only b/c its time to rebuild the motor and I wouldn't put a s/c on a motor tha isn't up to par. The n/a 347 will give me less power than the s/c 302 but in the long run it will be a s/c 347.

I would just get a 351 from the stoke it to a 393 or something. It can very well be streetable. It just depends on what kind of heads, cam, intake setup you do. If you do them mild you can still put out major numbers and maintain the streetability. Go 351!

if you want the power, go 351.
there is no replacement for displacement.
