Yep, the Mustang will have company if that car ever makes it to production. They did a really good job from what I see in those pictures of capturing the original e body cars.
i don't like it, but it's better looking than the charger.
I think that thing sucks. I would never give up my mustang for one of the ugly things. that car belongs in the 1970's and nothing from the 70's was good!

i like it a lot.......but i'm not a huge fan of dodge but i'd buy one if the price was right.......i am pretty excited for the next iteration of the mustang.
i agree, its nice looking and everything, but theres no passion in the design. I think that the new 05 looks very good, and is a design marvel, but look at everyone else: chevy with the concept camaro, looks like the old ones, and now dodge with the Challenger! I mean do something diferent, dont follow others i always say. Just to prove a point that chevy needs to copy ford, look at the 67 camaro and the 67 mustang.... huh looks pretty damn similar to me, exclude minor here and theres.

Two very different Mustangs, Two different kinds of fun!
I think it looks funny too, the front end seems very small compared to the rear. It looks like it has a fat ass. The grill needs some work too, not sure what but i dont like it. I like the GTO more.

that is a swwwwwweeeeeetttttt car..... finally someone else is getting it right!!!! and dont forget the gto is getting remade. by god the big three are finally coming around. that car is fine, i would buy it in a heartbeat.
think if gm does a good job with the bird and the new goat, damn what choices there will be to have
As far as I am concerned, let them build the beast, its just more compition on the street! What I am worried about is these cars the Stang, GTO, Charger, Camaro, they are all getting bigger, and heavier, just like in the 70's. I mean 2 tons of sports car is just not right, and to get the beast's moving they keep putting more powerful motors in them, at a time when gas is going up again. I am just concerd that when the Babie boomer bite the dust, and if gas goes up any more, that the F$*%ing imports will end up owning the streat.... See where I am going with this, its time to start thinking about blown 4.6 and 5.0 alum. blocks and heads in fox sized and weight class cars.....

well...considering a Mustang, Charger, GTO, etc are considered muscle/pony cars, they're going to be heavy. Muscle cars were built in the 60's and 70's and sports cars typcially are better in the twisties and have IRS (350Z, Vette (i think), Porsche, etc) and are usually lighter...
As for heavier cars...until we as americans give up our addiction and stop buying american cars, we're stuck with what ever the big three think we will like. Just like in the 70 and 80's.... I don't bitch about gas prices because I know that if it was THAT important to me, i'd go out a buy a 4 banger manual tranny that gets 30 mpg and cost less in insurance.
