was it Luke or Duke ? ...nice kill ! that'll put em' back in his place. some advice for everybody : never laugh at someone else's car before you know what's done to it, you might end up looking like an ass.

im a huge fan of the rolling burnout wins, my boss' 408 on drag radials suprises alot of cars with that move because his car looks otherwise stock....

I especially liked this one, I am the only GM/Ford guy in my family. The rest of them own Dodge stuff. I had a similar run in with a 440ci Charger a few years back. Much the same story, but I had a 455 in the GTO and a peg leg rear. Once I could open it up, I left him like nuthing, it was a pretty white R/T and it got waxed by my black primer GTO on stock rims...

Too bad my brother went home before the race, he was driving his 70 Challenger 340 at the time. He thought the Charger would own me..

Good kill, but of course it makes sense since you are even more nuts than I am when it comes to power..

Well when you are in your mid 30's and have been working for a long time, massive amounts of overtime, TDY's to the sandbox for 5-8 months tax free, have been to school for automotive, and are passionate about certain cars, you tend to collect them.

It was easier for me to get some of them, because they werent worth as much in the early 80's, and late 90's. now 50's-70's cars are goin nuts and it will be tougher for you to buy them. Only paid $1000 for my GTO, and most of my Fords were way less than that. They were teh cheap cars, like 3rd gen Fbody's and Fox mustangs are now. Just a POS to be trashed and used up for parts or a beater so my good car doesnt rust out.
