I got an 04 Cobra and after driving one you would not be happy with anything else.

terminators are nice cars and have lots of power but i wouldn't go as far as calling it a vette killer. more like ls1 killer.

I have an 01 cobra and love it but the 4.6 4v needs a supercharger IMO. It doesn't really start out pulling hard until around 3000-3500rpms. But, you can't go wrong with a COBRA.

I dont think I would say they are vet killers. The vetts have better suspension , and brake the chassis are not from 20 years ago. But what I will say is there isnt a car out there for $22k that comes close to a 03 /04 cobra you can add all the suspension and brakes you want for way less than a vett.
I did race a new vet I had more power , but at 125 mph on the hiway around a sweeping turn the stock suspension in the cobra rolls bad and becomes unsafe. i just had more balls than the guy driving the vett.
vetts are really nice cars I would love to have one just not for $30k more than my cobra!

03/04 cobras are the best cobras the power and handling (IRS) always puts a smile on my face when I take the 360 degree off ramp to my house at 65 mph

i have put my car around some highway curves at welll above 140 and i thought the car took it fine with very little body roll what soever.  it is the most sure footed car i have ever driven.

Like I said bang for the buck!
I am by no means bagging on the cars we own but if you have done nothing to the suspension on your car it is the same as mine. It is an out dated chassis a fox body chassis thats old! 1984?

Mine has body rolled like my steel framed harley, im not saying the vett didnt but look at the specs on chevy website for a new vett(the cheaper one). It was the first thing I did after I raced one they are awesome. 3 different types of suspension. It is a know fact 03/04 cobras have to light of springs and the chassis flex . Just go drive a $100k turbo porsche if you want the most sure footed car you have ever driven it is way above our cars!

Have you ever taken your car to a track? Not a drag strip. One day and the brake rotor, pads are wasted, and you will see the handling problems. It can be fixed for $$ if you want a race car

The Best Cobras
N/A Cobra: 98
S/C Cobra: 03-04

I just purchased my first cobra...first mustang for that matter.   It is a 98.

Sorry for the stupid question but I assume N/A cobra 98 stands for "Naturally Asperated" correct?  Are all 98's NA (without supercharger?)....why do you like 98's....
Thanks for the help..more stupid questions to come from the 1rst time cobra guy.
