Daaaaamn! I bet the markup is because of the demand for it, maybe? I mean, look how much they marked up the GT stangs in 05 and they aren't even in the same BALLPARK when it comes to HP and performance.
its all good, they will have it for a while unless some idiot is actually dumb enough to think that sticker counts. five g's over sticker is about what you can actually make. if someone were to report that to gm that dealership could face some reprocusions. by the way the only way someone could buy it is to put 20k down as a bank wont go for that, 120 to 135% of book max
its terrible. ruins the whole point of best bargin supercar. I hope gm does something about dealers like that, even though there are people with more money then brains that will buy it for that price.
It's just like the Ford GT deal. When the GT first appeared, even though the sticker was $140,000, they were going for as much as $500,000 initally. They are still fetching quite a bit over sticker. I bet the new Z06's will have some dealer markup for some time to come. I do agree with domesticfan, it ruins the whole point of the car. Too bad, but they will sell em'.
