Default JBA DUAL H-PIPE & AEM BRUTE FORCE PICS

i told all i would get better pics today and here they are. hope everyone can get a good idea of what to expect when going dual with stock bumper from these pics. also, the air filter is the new dryflow from AEM which is why it is gray (in case anyone is wondering). i tried to get as good a pic of the h-pipe but this was the best i could do without raising the car. hope this helps anyone who is deciding whether or not to buy either of the these products......for the record, i'm a very happy customer

Default RE: JBA DUAL H-PIPE & AEM BRUTE FORCE PICS

Have you noticed any torque loss with the H-pipe set up compared to the stock set up? Im going with the JBA headers & the same true dual system you got except I want an X-pipe for better flow (not as much loss in TQ from what I understand) and future mods.

I think the 2005 Mustang's have great torque, I have a manual though. Im just really concerned about the loss of TQ. I hear some people say you lose low end torque. Have you noticed any Negetive differneces TQ wise, I know you got more horse power and a great sound. The x pipe dont sound as well I've heard but im in it for future performance so I dont mind much.

Try and respond back your the first person thats got this set up I want. Can you post some sound clips PLEASE!!, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! I've been dying to hear this set up, everyone has the y-pipe set up[:'(] The cut out in your bumper looks good too, real clean, looks factory.

PS Don't leave us hanging on those sound clips you can help a lot of people with one good 15 second sound clip. Just remember to rev the engine up dont just let it Idle. (I hate sound clips like that)

haha......as soon as i get a sound clip....i will make sure to make it good so you hear idle, mid, and high rev. i'm the same as you with wanting to get as much info as possible. i went through the same thing before purchasing my setup.....as for torque loss, i have also read that low end torque is lost with true dual but have not seen any numbers so i consider it hearsay until we see some dyno results. to be completely honest.....have not felt any loss in torque (that i can tell). if there was a loss, it was pretty small and unnoticeable. i think it would probably be noticed if i was rolling at 1.5k rpm's but thats not realistic. if anything, i have felt more quickness and great takeoff when i hit the onramps to the freeways........hope this helps you out but it would be good to search for dyno numbers before you take other poeple's word. i understand the whole backpressure thing and loss of torque without enough backpressure but remember that you will get that back and get more in the mid to high rpm's.....i definately feel it.........sounds clips will come asap....hopefully by the end of this weekend......but for the record, they do sound pretty damn good. very similar to the y-pipe but with a bit more gurgle and growl........overall, my car is faster, quicker, sounds like a beast and looks damn good with those chrome tips coming out the back.

Cool thanks for the input. I'm looking forward to those sound clips.

So you can't even really feel a loss of toruqe huh? Thats great!!! Now I wont worry so much when I go to get mine with a x-pipe. Thanks alot.
