I love the Cobra R Series, and I was kinda dissapointed to find that there were no topics discussing the R's.  This is supposed to be a Mustang Forum.  The Cobra R (2000, dont know much about the others) makes 375 at the wheels, the most a mustang has accomplished Naturally Aspirated.  It is a nice car, just wondering why I cant find a refference.

Yes I think everyone on this forum would agree that the 2000 cbra R is badass, but you probably wont find anyone with first hand knowledge about the car, only info. of what they have read, most have never even seen one in real life let alone had the chance to drive one!!!  We can all dream though right??

Are you sure??  They were only made in red.  I sincerely hope no one ws dumb enough to paint one.  If he did, he should be shot, hung, and shot again.

At the 2001 ford fun weekend here at cordova drag way a guy brought A cobra R to the track and ran it.  The car had like 600 miles on it and the guy was ripping it up.  The coolest car ever.  Two seater coupe, nothing to the interior, but still would give my first born.  Guy ran about a 12.70's hauling ass.  He also had two other cobra's there and a lightning.

The first cobra R's were not only red you are thinking of just the 2000 ones?  I remember the 95 cobra R was white and it had a 5.8L in that year.
