dont give up your maf sensor might be getting hung on the contact panel . i have had this problem . if you are good with tools you can remove the top of the maf with a small screwdriver and idle the car up to see if the needle in the maf sensor is hanging . you can touch the needle but it will have an affect on the idle of the car if you move it to much . it will go back in place but if it hangs you need a new mas sensor . if thats not your problem try a map sensor or the o2 sensors that can sometimes have an the same effect .
Well you should try cleaning it first, dont use card cleaner or TB cleaner use electic contact cleaner. i didint really know if the MAF was my problem i just change everything els and MAF was the last thing i could think of, and it fixed it. You can do a search on the web how to check for a bad MAF, but mine seemed fine but it wasent.
