Hi everyone I am new to this site and I was wondering if anyone has supercharged their 289 small block? I am thinking of putting a NOVI 1200 on my 289 in my mustang. I am wondering how it worked for them and what type of numbers they got from it? Any help would be nice!! Thanks for your time! -John

Not sure what kind of power it puts out, but I know there is a similar setup that the owner of my shop has. I'll try and remember to ask him about it tomorrow. His is a '65 convertible though (not that it makes a diff).

Sure no problem. I'll be seeing him tomorrow, since I didn't go in today. I'll let you know what I find out.

Now that I look at this, I'm pretty sure this is the same setup he has.

what is the compression on your 289? have you done a leak down test or evan a regular compression test? When boosting your going to want to make sure that youre compression numbers are about withi 5% of eachother accross the board. Is it a fresh rebuild?
