Default electric cutouts

i have an 03 gt and i want to put an exhaust on..i saw these electric cutouts which look dope!! i would like to keep my stock exhaust (becuz its so quiet) and then just install some of these electric cutouts...has anybody ever done this? here is the site http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/qtec.htm

they have videos as well...tell me your thoughts people

Yes, a ton of people do this. It's awesome, your car will be loud and sound great (ignore all the soon-coming comments about it sounding like trash, as it WON'T).</P>


If you ran your car with the cut-outs shut for a baseline ET, then ran with your cut-outs you can expect nearly .5 of your ET. </P>

im sure they will sound great. however, if u do get them, be sure to open them VERY often, the carbon builds up and verily easily makes the cutout get stuck, so if you dont open those electric ones often enough your gunna pay for something that wont work.

I have some of these on my big block chevelle wish I have the electric one's I have the one's will the pull cord...just a note there won't pass most inspections

And yes, if your cut-outs are CAPPED, they will pass inspection. They are not ILLEGAL to have on a car, in ANY state. They are illegal to have OPENED in most states. </P>
