well you can put in a t-5..but you'll have to either get anpther 'puter or have that one reflash...better thing put in a 200o stall and a shift kit less $$$ and alot faster shifts

a good stall and shift will make it just as quick..and you know it takes hp to turn the s/c?<edited><editID>vfast</editID><editDate>38009.4055092593</editDate></edited>

do you know what is involved with a tranny swap? different computer different wiring harness for tranny drill holes for cluth you are giong to need an entire aode to t5 tranny conversion. with that kind of work and money put into the tranny you could just by a stall converter and a built 4r70w that will handle the horspwr and wont rob nothing from your motor, look at art carr trannies i put a 9inch bullit proof converter in at 2500stall and bought a 4r70w tranny from them that can handle up tp 800 hp. best investment I ever made with the stock v6 I had she gained over 1sec in drag times mo lie!!!! and when I put a 5.0 ho inin my car {1995 coupe} it worked wonderful. but that is just a little advice take it or leave it
