ok... well that gets jackson racing out of the way. is it turboed.. i remember you asking turboback exhuast or something..... if so, what motor do you have in it for it being turboed if it is? i know u gotta have somethin there.

Well pretty much something like, mildly built 9:1cr B18C1 GSR in a 2300lb sedan, 57trim T3/T04e, 9psi daily, more when racing, & like some other stuff... You know... just the normal bolt on honda stuff...

You do know that Vortec and other popular centrifugal SC manufacturers do make Centri's for Civics, right?

vortecH

they do make them for civics, but wouldn't that be a waste for a civic? don't people with civics get superchargers to give them some low end torque to get them out of the hole quicker? a centrifugal isn't going to help with that.

Sorry, Vortech. lol A centri is still belt driven, it'll give low end. But most people buy power adders for the gains in the top end... where a dohc vtec b series shines anyway.

Much like a turbo it depends on the A/R and trim of the blower in it... if you buy a Centri with a snail that looks like it's big enough to boost a mac truck, then no you won't.

Hell id like to know myself... lol, only time ive ever ran it at any track was in the 1/8 at high high altitude track(Natrual Bridge, VA), but it was running on only 3 cylinders(#1 came up 40-50psi.. talk about blow by), & the best time out of the 2 runs I had before I snaped the axle on 8PSI was a 9.7, best 60foot was a 2.79, reaction was 1.2, Speed trap was 84MPH. I couldnt grab traction till a lil half down the track & I was taking off a half throttle.... Traction owns my ass... but its all good I buying LSD & better tires right after X-mas.. That should help a **** load.

Why is it that everyone with a fast built up car on the forums has something wrong with it.

I ****ed up #1 cuz I was running with a ****ty tune(AFC pos) & I broke the ring landing on that piston... BUt I didnt care cuz I wanted to put forged pistons in it anyways. My new pistons look so shiny lol. Beside most of the time the resoned fast cars have something wrong with them because just just become less reliable with more power in most cases. Im take a pic of that piston some time soon to show you guys, it looks cool lol. I blew a chunk or all 3 rings landings haha.

i didnt know they made em too.. i thought most of the blowers were roots styles for the civics and honda's... i learn something new every day.
