So I come up behind a 5.0 and a Z28 at a stoplight last night both of them sounded really good. . It is a 3-lane road but there is a car in-between then so I pull behind the 5.0. When the light turned green the cars got to a rolling start, which I thought was weird but ok, and then took off.
As soon as we were passed the middle car I shot up in between both of then and got about a car ahead. We came up to another light and the Z28 turned of so I thought ok well lets see how I do against a 5.0. By second I had a car on him and he started to pull on me then I hit third and pulled on him by about 2 car lengths. Then we started to come up on some traffic and slowed down. After it was clear he wouldn't race again.

mmmmmmmmmmmkkkkkkkkkkkkkayyyyyyyyy so just so that i understand this, your v-6 walked a lighter mustang with more torque and hp and an lt1 or ls1 camero. with cai and exhaust. forgive me but i dont' think they were racing bro. a new body camero aka ls1 would have destroyed both of you even if he missed first and second. not being a dick but i cant fathom a v6 walking a 5.slow and a ls1 or lt1. you would have to be running mid thirteens to tear both of those cars up. like i said not trying to be a dick but it is what it is.
Nice story dude, but I'm 100% sure those v8s were not racing you. Even if that 5.0 had an auto and I'm assuming you have a standard, I still doubt you could of won, because that 5.0 would still be running, at worst, in the low 15s, well unless he had some tranny problems, then you might of had a better chance.
