What kind of gas mileage are you seeing in 05/06 V6. Our 04 is getting 18 MPG and wont get out of its own damn way. slow ass POS. Might be because im use to my Mach, but damn this bitch is slow. A Kia will prob beat it. I test drove 05 and they are ALOT stronger. Now question is gas mileage. Let me know guys and girls.

I have yet to drive conservatively in my 06 V6 but here is what I am getting...
19 MPG (US)
23 MPG (Imperial)
8 KM/L
I just installed my MMR CAI with high flow tube, so we will see if there is any change. I onlky have a little time left before the snow comes.
I have to say when I drove my friends 02 V6 after driving mine...I got that same feel you are talking about, I kept looking in the side mirror to see if a city bus coming to pass me.

I get about 19 average, with about 50/50 highway/city driving, and I live around a lot of construction so my 19 mile commute takes 45 minutes. If I do just highway driving and dont try to drive over everyone, I get close to 25.

It might be just me, but on long highway trips, like San Antonio to Biloxi, I averaged in the 29 to 30 mpg range. I drive to work, which is combined city and highway, and I usually end up getting like 24 mpg. It is all in how you drive. I don't need to take off like a madman from every light, b/c it just plain wastes gas, espcially when you get to the next light and the idiot who took of has been sitting there for like 3 minutes while you have caught up and then the light changes as soon as you get there. The taller gears in a V6 should help you on the highway anyway. I regularly drive like 85-90 and I don't have to gun it all the time. Plus if anyone has noticed, thes cars will coast at like 80 for like 3 minutes, before requiring throttle to maintain speed. It's not about how fast you drive, it's about how much speed you can maintain.
19 local and 25 long interstate driving. I have driven many lengthy trips with constant 65-75mph driving CAI and XCAL tune, no way I can squeeze more than 26mpg out.
