Default '05 GT to the track

I only got to run twice I ran 13.45 and 13.33. The 13.45 was my first pass, I had a 2.16 60 ft. My auto car spun into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th my first pass. Traction was an issue. My second pass which was my best went like this

60ft-2.04
330ft-5.64
1/8-8.61@83.32
1/4-13.33@103.78

I was shooting for 13.3s so I am happy with the outcome. Just thought I would share.

Good runs.
He's already cutting a 2.0 60 ft. How quick of a 60 ft do you think he could get with sticky tires?

757GT what state do you live in because I noticed your car was tuned by Brent Hughs, and I think I know a mechanic by that name.

he lives in Williamsburg,VA, per his profile.

Tommy, i ran mid 12s at 104-106 with high 1.60s and low 1.70s on DRs...his MPH is good, but his ET isnt, IMO. granted, i was running a built automatic, but i would think that even getting into the 1.80s should be feasible for him, and that *should* get him into the 12s, no?

I do live in Williamsburg. Brent owns a shop called DTP in Chesapeake VA.

all the money??????????, I have 3 bolt ons a gear and a tune. 13.3 isn't bad for an auto GT. Yes tires would help, but I seriously doubt I would get into the 12s, it would be nice but I don't see 12s yet. At best with god with me I would run high 12s. Also I think my MPH is kind of crappy really. Most people I known running 13.3s trap 104 to 106.

Yeah, on my last trip to the strip in May I ran 13.3 @ 106, 2.0 60 ft. You probably had a better 1/8 than me, I have 2.73 gears. What gears does the Stang have in the rear?
Drop in a torque converter with a decently high stall speed and put some sticky tires on there and you'll run deep 12s for sure. That's not exactly cheap though (TC ~ $500 + installation, ET Streets ~ $300), and I don't know how strong the rear ends in those things are. Still, damn good times for a very mildly modded auto GT.
