having a lot of trouble and FRUSTRATION!!
I always liked the look of the GT grille, so 2 weeks ago I went ahead and purchased the V6 to GT grille conversion kit from Charlie at West Coast Performance because it was legit and other people who purchased from them seemed satisfied. So, today I receive my package and get right to work. However after the first 5 minutes I find myself stuck trying to get the grille into the left side of the damn bumper. Now I know there is a discrepancy in dimensions, but other people have been able to get them in. I've noticed after reading after the Forum that this is a common problem and I even tore one of the tabs on the top left side of the GT grille trying to muscle it in. So I am not sure exactly what to do at this point in time. Ive contacted charlie and hes been very helpful, but it still does not solve my problem. Any feedback or advice would definitely alleviate my stress because right now I am pretty pissed.
