just wondering what are the chances of a stock 98 3.8l stang beating late 90 model z28 from light to light.

thats bull. there has to be some chance or im lucky or a real good driver one. my stock 3.8l stays with the z28s from light to light. but it wont stay with vtech ricers</P>

..................bud, if you honestly think that your puny little 3.8 can take out a 5.7L chevy, i'd have to say you're the ricer. (and you do think that, otherwise youw ouldn't say that it's bull)

just a lil tidbit of info...not all z28's are v8's the z28 is an appearance package and some of them area v6's like u 3.8L to be exact! and if it was a v6 then it is possible but if indeed it was the 5.7L ur out of ur mind he wasnt racing u cuz u would have gotten smoked...sorry!

no. the appearance package is RS and all RS's are 3.8's anyway...so wherever you got your info, beat them up and laugh at them. all Z28's are a 5.7. all SS's are 5.7's.</P>

unfortunately I'll have to concur with those of you who have some common sense, I've got a '82 Z-28 and even with the half-ass cross-fire injection it'll still smoke my 3.8 mustang. displacement still rules no matter the brand name
