I have a 2001 convertible with a sever shaking problem through out the car.  Have returned to dealer numerous times, spending over $600 so far to be told, "your tires are wearing weird".  I have had tires checked by manufacture dealers and they say the tires are fine.  If anyone has had this problem and got it resolved, please let me know.  I don't know where to turn next any suggestions?

Use fuel injector cleaner, then change the plugs if that does not work...

when does it shake? if it shakes only when you slow down you might have warped a rotor

My car does the same thing. It sux! I took it to the dealership, and they told me I needed a whole new fuel injection system. I went to a mechanic and was told I probably had one blocked injector. I tried to use some store bought stuff to clean it out, but it didn't work. I was told it was probably caked in there pretty good. I might have to get it manually cleaned out.
