Hey everyone!

New mustang owner here, wants to start working on his car, but doesn't know where to begin.  It's a '99 3.8L engine (very happy wit dat) Manual Tranny, I want to start working on it, making faster, stronger, and nicer looking, but where do I start?

Any suggestions?

Start with exhaust, then gears, 3.73's would be nice for your year and with your manual, then I would hit it up with a Densecharger CAI(the full length one they just came out with I think). Then U/D pulleys, and if you really want to get into it but not that much, I would think that a 50 shot of nitrous would be alright for you car to handle, then a chip. Appearance, get rid of those rims and get ya some Y2K Cobra R's or something, just something that is 17' or 18'. The GT bumpers would also help improve the look with the dual exhaust. www.v6power.net and http://www.3.8mustang.com are good v6 mustang sites to get info about your car.

So it looks like the gears would be a good start, thanks everyone.

Does anyone know any good websites that I can visit for mustangs?

Anything from fixing them up to parts replacement.

thank ya much!!

I have to serve in Korea for a year, so that will help me save up money and when I get back to the states, I'll be in Colorado Springs, and can start making my adjustments to my car.
