05 vs 03-04 Cobra

Just raced an 03-04 Cobra convert on the freeway on my way home. Not sure of his mods, but his exhaust was definitely louder than mine. We had one good run side by side starting from my 3rd gear. I was expecting him to jump cause of the torque curve those things have, but he didnt. Instead, I barely inched away, but it was pretty close. The last run we did I got him by maybe 2 cars (I could see him on my rearview mirror). Not sure what happened that time..maybe a missed gear on his part. It's the first time I redlined 3rd and 4th and even got into part of 5th. When he pulled up, the driver looked a little shocked. I just gave him a thumbs up and exited ...with a big smile

Are you the '05 guy with the blower? Two Guys Garage just got 500 rwhp out of a Kenne Belle'd '05, so I'm not surprised. Good kill.

Yea dude what did you do to your car, because he should of killed you, that cobra is running at 394 hp at the flywheel, and about 350 rwhp, so somethings wrong.

try closer to 380RWHP. cobras are VERY underrated. i saw one on the dyno put down 400RWHP with just catback and 425RWHP after they dropped in just a K&N FILTER for the second run.
