Default 99 trans in a 94

I've got a 94 Mustang GT auto and I've been thinking about swapping the trans or a newer auto trans. Is there any fitment problems or differences between a 94 auto trans and a 99 or 2001 auto trans? Would it even bolt up to the 5.0L?

You could go with the T5 swap, it would be WAY more fun, and better on gas.

I know this has probably been gone over twelve times, but i've seen a couple of you on this forum have done the t-5 swap. How difficult is it and what sort of extra parts and etc. would i need?

Alright, I found a website ( http://www.wcfords.com/articles/tech/t5swap/t5swap.html ) that shows the steps and parts needed for t5 swap, but is there anyone with experience who can tell me how hard it is?

It's really not hard at all. With the exception of the pedal assembly swap. Thats a pain in the ass. I've been too lazy to crawl under the dash and actually change it out. But I've got all the parts for it.
