Yeah, he is mad that a KB will whoop up on any STREETABLE LS based motor, so he has to bring out an 8 sec drag car with a parachute to compare to the KB. What a sad case you are you poor poor kid.

Isn't there a 7 sec daily driven kb cobra? I think that's a lot faster than the 8.9 427TT vette.

I havent heard. I have seen Strictly Performance's Cobra go low 9's. He will be in the 8's really soon. Thats out of a little 281 with a KB on it. Think of it for a sec... a little bitty 281 with a parasitic losing supercharger on it running 8's compared to a TT 427 Vette that weighs probably 500-800 lbs lighter only going 7's. Kinda funny after I think about it! LMAO!!!

this cobra runs an 8.63 on stock block. Top that ****. Procharged. Called orange rush. IN september 2003 vol 10 . u think im lying, go buy it, if not, ill scan the whole thing on there so you can see it.

hmmmm how many stangs are in the sevens right now? hmmmmmmmmmmm a ls motor is a broad topic like a 408 351 302 331 etc etc etc etc etc ... i would love to have that vette though. and lemme guess i am just a gm hater in that kids eyes even though i have owned four of them. some people are just short of reaching the short bus, this guy esp.

lemme clarify. coming on a mustang site to start **** is gay. a built 427 with twin turbos is a extreme cry from a stock block with a larger blower on it. in my opinion the starter of this thread is a flamer. i hate flamers

i don't know if your talking to me but the stang i just talked about is faster then that vette. That vette is no doubt a sick car, but im just trying to point out theres always something faster. You could take the engine out, and put an alcohol drag in there if you wanted, but you could also do it in a civic.

I just saw a thing on Speed TV like 3 days ago talking about the top 10 fastest street cars in America and a 94-98 GT ,I dont remember what year it was, ran around a 9 flat somethings and it drove there and stopped at a gas station on the way to fill up. Very nice car.
Somebody else has had to see the program im talking about too.

Ya Fast as shi* but its 427TT not a 280S/C what a blow out unless the vette missed 2 gears it could probaly still win

So in other words, you want to compare this car to say, the fastest 351 based (or hell, 302 based for that matter) foxbody???

Lets each put a grand on it and see who comes out on top.

How about a big block swapped fox? I seem to remeber a few of the fox classes going 6s and 7s???

Very nice post. Thats the Lynch crew. I believe they were the first to break the 6's in a small block ford engine.

OMG!!! that a race car u stupid ****s. that tt427 vette is street legal and also gets about 28 mpg. that stang has a parachute, wheel bars. Completely strip interior and gets wat 1 mpg. also dont they have to pull the motor out after certain number of runs and rebuild it??????????????

Again, read about the 8's Procharged (not even turbo!) stock block Cobra before you start pissing in your panties again.

And btw, that 8.95s on the Vette is a in-house claim by Lingenfelter Performance, no independent test have been able to duplicate it to my knowledge.

Now go find me a normal Vette doing that on a stock (mass produced) LS block.
