tonight i got bored and was wanting to do something to my car. so i had some hose lying around. it is like dryer hose sort of but alot thicker and better material. anyways it was 5'' so i stuck it through the fender hole and into the stock airbox thing and routed it down to where it sits right in front of the passenger side fog light. does anyone think this will help more than stock?? my friend put his hand down by the fog light and said when i hit the gas he can feel it sucking a lot of air. what is your guys opinion on this?

Personally I think its a bad idea. You need high perf. and speed to acheive anything with ram air. All youre gonna do is pump dirt into that.

Stock up on K+N cleaner....

yeah i started thinking about it sucking more dirt. should i just modify the stock thing that sticks into the fender?? like cut it to where it barely sticks in or what? i don't want to spend the money on a cai, since i just bought the k&n.

every mustang magazine ever takes that off of the test car. I've compared with and without and it seems to be more free revving w/o it. hard to tell.

it'll be funny when the dryer hose catches on fire. that's why ricers always have a fire extinguisher.
