I just had a civic try to "race" me today too... i'm turning onto the street, kid is at the red light I'm turning at, typical ricer with body kit, black "carbon fiber" hood (unpainted), etc.. I seem to have a sixth sense for jackass people who try to race me because sure enough he floors it to catch up to me and of course rides my ass (other lane is open). Stop light comes up, he doesn't line up next to me, just starts revving his engine behind me. I've had enough of this kid already so I decide to just punch it through first gear (speed limit is 35). Light turns, I do a regular launch then punch it to about 35 and put it in 3rd and look back. The kid is like 3 cars back flooring it, catching up. I'm expecting a fly-by since the next light is turning red but he nails the brakes and turns off just before the red light.
I felt cheated out of a textbook ricer fly-by, or at least another revving session
i hate riced out civics. last night i was just cruising around minding my own buisness and at a light there was a all white civic(sh!ty paint) w/ spraypainted red wheels and a wing that was about 6 inches higher than the car, and there were multiple stickers. he kept revving its fart can at me. i turned left and he followed me then passed me and we merged onto a 1 lane road and he went 10 below the speedlimit i had to hear the annoying fartcan for like 5 mins. then i pulled up next to him at the light and he wouldnt even race me.
he prolly didn't want to waste his gas

I dont really understand people with v6 stangs talkin smack either. U know there are stock civics that would hand u ur ass right? Not to mention the straight from the factory talons, lasers, eclipses, preludes, WRX's, V6 camaros, the list goes on and on! I wouldnt rather have a civic(id wouldnt drive one EVER!), but id rather have any of the above mentioned cars! Theres a platform for performance in most of those cars. No one makes a fast V6 stang. Theres one honorable exception that ive ever seen. Matthockey. 270rwhp V6. Congrats to him! He could spank my ass and we both know that. Besides that, most just TRY to make theirs look like a GT/Cobra.The things that sets me off the most is seeing a SN95 V6 with GT badges!!! If you make ur V6 resemble a GT or cobra without the power, U R A RICER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RICER=fast looking car with out the power of a fast car.

personally, yes, i would rather have a Civic or a CRX rather than a v6 Mustang. 'Stangs and Camaro's WERE NOT made to have 6-cyl's....PERIOD. THEYRE AMERICAN MUSCLE. so, i dont even look at 6 cyl's, except for matthockeys, cuz, well, his is just BADA$$ !!! period.
and Si.........yes there were civics in FnF......need i remind you what they used for the truck hijackings ?? black civics.....green neon underbody lights........but as far as actual racing cars, no....well, except for the 1 white civic when (Paul)Walker lost his eclipse to Mr. Diesel. lol

They weren't the main cars used in the story line, cracker.
If I recall from the 10 minutes between both movies, there were more American Muscle/Pony cars in the them than there were Imports used by the main character.
This goes back to my point of Muscle/Pony cars being the ones that promote street racing.
I think it was a civic In the first F&F that changed lanes underneath the Semi truck too, that was an awesome stunt. unlike the saleen that went underneath the semi's TIRESSSS heheh. What a waste of a buetiful car. They should have used a camaro or a V6 stang.
True that i love the look of the mustang(especially when you can see 2 tailpipes out the rear) but some stock civics are just as quick may be quicker then a v6 and with todays Gas prices, can get you over 30-35 MPH gallon.
