TRMIN8R, what mods do you have? i have hear that you are running a big shot of N2o and you have head work and cams but what elss? i know those LS1's afe fast, but wow.
now trnim8r the problem most people have on this site, and I too can say I feel confused about, is that on spray your making what? 6xx? and when you race a 8xx hp turbo cobra and you win like you said 3 out of 5 times, it just doesnt seem right. I mean I know numbers dont mean much when racing, but c'mon about a 200 hp diff? Can you blame some of us for being a little puzzled? I am not biast here, a fast car is a fast car, wether its an import or domestic etc. BTW whats next for mods if you dont mind me asking??
im asking the same questions, doesnt make sense. im in now way bashing any cars in asking this. that maro is a badazz car, no doubt, but a 200 hp difference at the wheels? i dont see you beating one 3 out of 5 times. sounds like you are racing people who are not getting ANY traction, or just dont know how to drive. i do appreciate your respect for all makes, fast is fast!!!

His car is pumpin 400 and something to the wheels with his cams and blah blah blah, He is beating all these faster cars by using juice.So off the juice its really nothing speacial then a 400hp ls1

I guess it could be from the power curves......all of my power hits at once, at 3200 rpm, it takes a little bit for the turbos to spool. So I jump out immediatly. That is the only logical explanation I've thought of. But, I have beaten modded '03-'04 Cobras on just motor. And they are making quite a bit more power than me. For instance, I just raced an '04 Cobra last weekend, he had a pulley, cold air, catback and off road h pipe. He said he was in the mid 400's for hp, and just under 500 in tq. I put about 3 cars on him. LS1's have never been dyno queens (not saying anyone here is), they perform better than what the dyno says. Honestly, I have raced people that I just knew were gonna hand me my ass, but I won. It doesn't really make any sense to me either.

I have a cam, lt's, full bolt ons and nitrous (200 shot). Stock heads, stock shortblock, stock intake manifold,stock tranny (besides a shifter & clutch), and stock rearend.
My next mod is definitly gonna be a moser 9" with 3.73's and some suspension (k-member/a-arms, control arms, torque arm, 6 point cage, and subframes. Then slicks and skinnies. I'm hoping to run it like that for a while, then move up to a 408 stroker and a dual stage 300, with some good flowing heads/intake.

I personally don't think nitrous is cheating, but holy sh*t you must go through a lot of those stuff! Do you have your own refilling station or something?
Also, do you know the size of that turbo on that 870 rwhp single turbo Cobra? I'm guessing it must be around 70mm in size, in other words, horrible lag.

65mm i think....and a 70mm is not big for a v8, it dont take long at all to hit boost on a 70mm..... get into the 90's then its gettin big

IS this really happening? Are idiots from another thread(which said some pretty bad !@# about us in general) coming on here and talking smack? GRN N GRY, Sidewayz, DAN04 are yall still alive?
